This little app is designed To calculate the potential for dew formation on Optical equipment at night, such as telescopes and binoculars.
Most weather apps will give the temperature and Relative Humidity (RH) for any given time.
Using this data, one can calculate the likelihood of the ‘dewpoint’, that situation in which condensation will form.
Simply enter the forecast temperate and humidity, and from that the Dewpoint temperature will be returned.
As long as the air temperature is GREATER than the dewpoint temperature, condensation will not form.
